Data and purposes

When you browse, the server receives the IP address and technical data needed to deliver the page and keep the service secure. These are not used for advertising, behavioral profiles or visitor statistics.

A submitted proposal stores its description, referenced entry, language, date, submission identifier, review status, optional name and an identifier derived from the IP address using a secret key. This identifier limits abuse and recognizes retries. Proposals are reviewed in a private inbox and are not published automatically. Do not include other people’s personal data or sensitive information.

A name is optional and no account is required. Omitting a name does not provide technical anonymity. Sending a proposal is voluntary; the text and necessary technical data are needed to process it.

Legal basis

Processing needed to serve the website, protect the inbox, handle voluntary proposals and answer inquiries is based on the legitimate interest in maintaining a community reference, assisting contributors and preventing abuse (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). Processing is limited to these purposes; there is no profiling or automated decision-making with legal or similarly significant effects.

Retention

The security cookie lasts one hour. Submission-limit history ceases to apply after a day without activity and is cleaned up when new attempts are processed. The technical identifier attached to a proposal stays with its record while that proposal is retained.

Inbox review and deletion are manual: proposals are retained while needed for evaluation and related issue resolution. On closing the review, personal data no longer needed are removed. Accepted technical content may remain as public documentation, without publishing the security identifier or the optional form name. Email inquiries are kept while needed to answer and resolve them; additional retention must be justified by a legal obligation or a specific claim.

Your chosen color theme and bookmarks remain in your browser until changed or site data is cleared. These preferences are not sent to the server. Navigation storage lasts for the tab session. Details are available in the cookie information.

Recipients and services

The controller accesses proposals for review. VPS hosting and infrastructure services participate in website delivery and security. The inbox is not sent to analytics services and personal information is not sold. Data may be disclosed where legally required.

The contact address uses Google Gmail. Writing to it involves the email provider processing the message and technical data, potentially outside the European Economic Area. Google describes its adequacy mechanisms and standard contractual clauses in its transfer frameworks and its privacy policy.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or object to processing by writing to seluedita@gmail.com. Portability and withdrawal of consent apply where their legal requirements are met; the processing described here relies on legitimate interests. To locate an unnamed proposal, provide its approximate date and entry without sending unnecessary identity documents.

You may also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency.
