# Public CKS HTTP API

All reference endpoints use GET, require no account, cookie or API key, and read
only the published catalog. URLs are relative to this API directory. The private
proposal inbox has no public listing route.

- `catalog.json`: complete bilingual catalog, schema `cks-public-reference/v1`.
- `families`: list of families.
- `search?q=health&lang=es&limit=20&offset=0`: search names, signatures and descriptions.
- `search?family=Obj&kind=method`: exact family and kind filters.
- `entries/{id}?lang=es`: one exact overload; unknown IDs return 404.

Language: `es` (default) or `en`. Search limit: 1 to 100 (default 20).
Offset: 0 to 100000. Query: at most 200 characters. Invalid parameters return 400.
Search replies include total, offset, limit, next_offset and localized entries.
Entry replies include exact argument and return types, summary, notes, examples,
technical marker and description_status (`documented` or `missing`). No fallback
language is silently substituted; missing text is null. IDs remain stable when
registration numbers change. Fetch a specific entry to disambiguate overloads.

The HTML/Markdown pages and catalog.json also work with static hosting. Search,
entry and family endpoints require the wiki WSGI service. Local preview uses the
same route layout as the public /imperivm/CKS/ deployment.
